Meet Mars and Sandy—two of the most beautiful souls, inside and out. Their laughter, tenderness, and love for each other made this session such a joy to capture.
Mars first reached out in late July with a sweet but urgent request: he and his fiancée needed engagement photos for their November 1st wedding, and they hadn’t even sent out their save-the-dates yet. From the start, he knew what he wanted—water and a sunset. After chatting through options, we landed on Honeymoon Island, a hidden gem with everything they were dreaming of.
Of course, August in Florida loves to test us. Our first date was rained out (classic Florida!), but we rescheduled for the following Thursday. I prayed the skies would clear—and they did. What began as a cloudy, stormy evening turned into the most breathtaking sunset. It couldn’t have been more perfect.
Mars and Sandy’s love story is just as beautiful. Both originally from Egypt, they grew up constantly around each other without realizing it—same parties, same friends—but it wasn’t until years later at a party in Texas that their paths truly crossed. The rest has been history.
That evening on Honeymoon Island, their joy was contagious. Every frame was full of warmth, laughter, and love that felt meant to be.
