Every now and then, I get to photograph someone whose energy completely lights up the room — or in this case, the restaurant! A friend recently connected me with Adam, better known as The Honest Food Guy, and his son, Honest Jr. These two are a dynamic food critic duo known for their honest takes, big laughs, and even bigger personalities.
Adam reached out in need of updated headshots before a major food competition they were set to judge, and we met up at the incredible Three Bulls Tavern & Brewery in Valrico, FL. From the moment we walked in, the staff was nothing short of amazing — welcoming, accommodating, and genuinely excited to have us there. It’s always such a joy when a venue not only looks great in photos but also creates an atmosphere full of warmth and community.
The session itself was quick — about 20 minutes — but full of energy. Honest Jr. stole the show with his big personality and contagious smile, while Adam brought the perfect mix of professionalism and fun. Before long, laughter filled the entire restaurant. Guests and staff alike couldn’t help but get caught up in the excitement as this father-son team brought their signature charisma to the spotlight.
It’s moments like these that remind me why I love what I do — capturing genuine connections, laughter, and the stories that make people shine.
